Primary students will be begin to develop visual literacy skills using critical thinking, imagination, and the senses to observe and explore the world by learning about the elements of art, principles of design, and expressive qualities.
Class will follow the standards and goals outlined by the Art TEKS (linked here)
Intermediate (Age 10-13 years)

Held Thursdays from 10:30 am-12 pm| $100/month + initial material cost

Intermediate students will be deepen their visual literacy skills using critical thinking, imagination, and the senses to observe and explore the world by understanding the elements of art, principles of design, and expressive qualities.

Secondary students will showcase their visual literacy skills using critical thinking, imagination, and the senses to observe and explore the world by applying their knowledge of the elements of art, principles of design, and expressive qualities.

Individual Private Lessons (6-18 years)

Held Thursdays in 30 minute blocks from 2:30 pm-5 pm| $150/month

Specifically offered for students who wish to develop their skills beyond what a group class can offer. This one-on-one time will be led by student interest and individual skill-set. This is ideal for developing craft quickly and will spark motivation in all students. Individual Private lessons are recommended for students who wish to pursue art as a career (click here for a list of art careers) in any shape or form that wish to develop a portfolio for college scholarships and admission.
